- On 8th August 1963, fifteen men robbed the night mail train from Glasgow to London. They stole two and a half million pounds. The crime was dubbed the Great Train Robbery. This documentary traces the events of 25 years ago; Buster Edwards, one of the robbers, gives his first studio interview for ten years. Ex-detective Superintendent Malcolm Fewtrell, who led the investigation, talks from his retirement home in Swanage and there are also interviews with robbers Bruce Reynolds, Charlie Wilson, and from his exile in Rio, Ronnie Biggs. The programme also includes a rare recording of the voice of train driver Jack Mills.
