- On 24/25th August Birmingham will host the first ever motor racing on the streets event. Its a first for the city and the UK and the aim is eventually to get Formula 1 Grand Prix racing on Birmingham streets. The programme examines the origins of the event and talks to residents wholl be imprisoned for two days. Birminghams Formula 1 driver Nigel Mansell is featured together with Japer Carrott.
