- Friends of John Keats talks about his story. Born October 31, 1795, and died February 23, 1821. Comments about his book: Ode to a Nightingale. The interviews were made in John Keats own home in Hampstead. Now it was renamed as: Keat Growe. John Keats wrote his very best in the last 3 or 4 years before he died. He died young with TB as well as almost all his family. Lived the last 12 months in Italy trying to cure his TB, but he died there in 1822. [Box 1 - Sean Street Collection]
