- And now over the next hour we present a special programme about one of the greatest singers of all time: Nat King Cole. The programme is introduced by Carlos Romanos and is a tribute to the singer. We hear his biography and memories. His real name was Nathaniel Adams Coles, born March 17, 1919 and died in February 15, 1965, with the age of 46 years-old. A great American songwriter, pianist, vocal jazz, swing and blues. We hear his songs amongst the breaks. After his death, his wife founded the Nat King Cole Cancer Foundation. [Box 6]
