- CENTRE STAGE [Series RADIO VICTORY ARCHIVE] One of a series of popular arts programmes called Centre Stage. Presented by MATT HOPPER. TRACK 1- Music. Interview with Lucy Brett. She talks about the Royal shakespeare Company. Wilf Morris talks about the 2 plays - a touring production Time of the Shrue and Happy End. Monica McKay is the manager of the Royal Shakespear Company and she talks about choosing places to perform and generally are Sports Centres. At the moment, there are 36 people touring. The public always want to see Shakespeare plays, is still the favourite one. Another 2 persons, company managers and technical, Roger Sansung and Andrew Gordon, they talk about the Northern Ballet Theatre. They say all the technical problems and arrangement details to perform the ballet, from behind the scenes. Then Matt Hopper gives the last news about Horror films, Comedy films, Science, Science fiction and others. TRACK 2- Interview with Lucy Brett. She talks about the Pantomine in Chichester. She contacts Lionel Blair by telephone and he says who is in the cast, etc. Murphy, one of the actors, also by phone-in, talks about his role in Pantomine. And finally Paul Lewis gives all the last news and events within the area, other pantomines and local touring performing companies. [Box 7]
