- Andy Ferriss talks to Harry Fisher, a gardener and social worker that works for the Royal Society for Mentally Handicap Children and Adults, in Thornton, and runs the Blandwood Country Center. Born in Yorkshire, but he came to the West Country and loves this area. Before, he was a grocery, working with the retailing side of agriculture and horticulture. For 4 years now he has been the organizer, director and teacher of the Royal Society for Mentally Handicap Children. He explains what the Centre is, what the children do and their pleasure to be able to do something useful with their hands. They also have a garden centre where they sell plants, receive the money, give exchange and give adice to the public. He says: My work is my hobby. [Box 7]
