Prime Minister John Major has gone to Saudi Arabia to meet with the exiled government of Kuwait. Political editor Peter Murphy is travelling with him and interviews him aboard a plane. Major says he wanted to visit Saudi Arabia to discuss events with the Arab allies and make sure British troops are well equipped and in good morale as the Un deadline of 15th january for Iraq to withdraw from Kuwait approaches.
