Eleanor Parker reports from Bristol on the discovery of listeria in supermarket chicken meat, and on Government plans to warn the public about the hazards of food poisoning. Health Officer Terry Dicken on those most at risk from the bacteria, which can cause fatal meningitis or stillbirth in pregnant women. Also calling for tighter legislation on the temperatures at which retailers store cooked chilled meats.
