The government’s price check scheme will keep prices down for 6 months and is part of the counter-inflation plan. Campbell Adamson of the CBI is interviewed on the scheme and the deal agreed with his members and states that if the price code continues after the 6 months, unemployment will go up, so the code must stop after that time.
