Description
Dame Evelyn Denington, Baroness Denington, who began her career with the London County Council in 1946, says it is outrageous that London-wide government is being abolished. Whilst she concedes that the GLC was flawed from the outset, she thinks it should have been allowed a cool appraisal and easy transition to a new body. Female interviewer not identified.
