Description

Chairman Tony Banks takes a swipe at the Conservative Government, and Tory group leader Alan Greengross criticises him for his partisan presentation. GLC leader Ken Livingstone announces that the GLC has finally disinvested its shares in Rio Tinto Zinc, a company with South African links. Former Deputy Leader and Finance Chairman, John McDonnell, tries to adjourn the meeting but is not permitted to speak. Female reporter not identified.
