- Interview with Benjamin Netanyahu, Israeli Ambassador to the Court of St James, about his country’s intentions in Beirut. He explains that the policy of Israel with regard to Lebanon is the security of Israel and the establishment of good relations. Necessary security arrangements in Southern Lebanon need to be established to secure Northern Israel. He says that the Israeli air force went in and knocked out the Syrian missiles and then they found themselves in Beirut. He talks about the agreement which was signed with the central Lebanese Government in May. The interviewer explains that the latest reports from Israel show that the Palestine Liberation Organisation is infiltrating Lebanon again. Male interviewer not identified.
