- Description
- David Addis reports after the body of Stephen Milligan, Conservative MP for Eastleigh in Hampshire, was found at his London home. Police spokesman Mike Cobb, Detective Superintendent Brian Edwards and Home Office pathologist Dr Iain West comment. Conservative Party Chairman Sir Norman Fowler, Defence Minister Jonathan Aitken, Editor of the Sunday Times, Andrew Neil and Eastleigh constituency chairman Peter Madsen give their reactions to Milligan’s death, which is being treated as suspicious. (It was later concluded that Milligan died as a result of auto-erotic asphyxiation combined with self-bondage).
