Paul Rowley interviews Shadow Chancellor, John Smith about the latest economic statistics which show that inflation is down from four-and-a-half percent to four point one percent - largely because of heavy price cuts in the January sales. However, the reduction is countered by a sharp fall in manufacturing output - down by one point two percent over the last quarter. Smith says the Government has nothing to celebrate.
