Martin Young interviews Shadow Chancellor, John Smith about the latest UK economic statistics. Britain is now suffering the longest recession since the Second World War and official figures out today show the economy slumped even further in the last three months of last year. Labour says the country has now been in recession for eighteen months and the Government is to blame.
