Mark Phillips interviews the Chief Executive of the Commission for Racial Equality Dr Peter Sanders and Deputy Chief Constable Paul Whitehouse of the Association of Chief Police Officers on new police guidelines on racial equality issued by the two bodies. On the concern of both the police and the Commission over allegations by ethnic minorities of discriminatory treatment by some officers. The CRE and ACPO will be ensuring police forces are carrying out the recommendations.
