Angela Rippon interview on her FM Drivetime show from the radio car with Jim Harris, who has resigned as Chairman of the London Ambulance Board in the wake of the inquiry report into the breakdown of London Ambulance Services’ emergency aided despatch computer system. Harris says in resigning he accepted responsibility for the Board’s failure to deliver but argues they acted properly in questioning management, which had given assurances of the readiness of the computer system and staff.
