The Radio Authority has received six bids for the third Independent Radio Network (IRN 3) for the license to broadcast a new national commercial speech-based radio station with the two highest bids submitted by Talk Radio and Newstalk UK. The highest bid will not necessarily be awarded the license as in the previous 2 rounds.
