- America has brokered a deal between Bosnia and Croatia to establish a federation between Muslim, Bosnians and Croats and it is hoped the Serbians will also join in. Report by Paul Woodley with statements at the signing ceremony from US President Bill Clinton; Croatia’s President Franjo Tudjman and Bosnian President Alija Izetbegovic. Russian’s Special Envoy to Yugoslavia, Vitaly Churkin, has overseen a deal for Serbia and Croatia to open discussions about officially ending the war.
