- Description
- Sally Croft and Susan Hagan were members of the Bhagwan Shree Rajneesh commune in Oregon in the early eighties and have been fighting extradition to the US for over three years over alleged involvement in a plot to assassinate US Attorney for Oregon Charles Turner. Both deny the charges and today a demonstration outside Downing Street handed in a petition as a last stand to Prime Minister John Major and Home Secretary Michael Howard. Report by Tim Crook includes interviews with Croft and Hagan and Labour MP for Greenwich Nick Rainsford and unidentified demonstrators.
