Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat returns to London at Labatt’s Apollo in Hammersmith after an absence from London of nearly two and a half years. The show also marks a return to the capital for Phillip Schofield in the title role. Malcolm Brown went along. He speaks to Phillip Schofield about performing in different cities as the show toured; his manager Peter Powell about Schofield’s move into musicals; choreographer Anthony van Laast on challenges of a cast of 150 with dozens on stage at any one time; Sadie Nine theatre crtitic.
