Description
There are reported to be around 80,000 Iraqi soldiers deserting to Kuwait and Turkey or joining Kurdish guerrillas opposed to the war in the Gulf. An unidentified (Middle Eastern?) male speaker says that there is low morale in the Iraqi troops, as soldiers are mindful of the Iran-Iraq War and believe that Saddam Hussein is sending them to their deaths. Female interviewer not identified.
