Mark Phillips reports with less than a month to go before local elections on the Conservative Party and Liberal Democrat campaigns. Michael Portillo, Chief Secretary to the Treasury denies the party will do badly in London, urges his Tory colleagues not to raise speculation about leadership and on raising taxes and the corruption allegations against Tory Westminster City Council. The Liberal democrats have published a document of criticism of Prime Mininster John Major from his own party. Liberal Democrat campaign chairman Matthew Taylor says the public have had enough and will vote accordingly.
