- Edward Heath has escaped assassination by a car bomb, which was planted outside a restaurant near his home (13/10/75). He is shaken, but comments on the futility of such attacks, and says the recent bombing campaign on London will not make the British withdraw from Northern Ireland. Heath’s home was targeted in an attack in 12/74. Male interviewer not identified.
