Work is starting tonight to repair the sea defences at Towyn, North Wales, where flood waters have forced 2,000 people to flee from their homes. Colwyn Bay Borough Council’s Technical Director, Neville Gough comments on the project, whilst Assistant Chief Constable John Owen praises everyone who has helped and says the vulnerable are the first to be evacuated.
