Description
The Irish National Liberation Army (INLA) has declared an end to its ceasefire. The organisation, which broke away from the IRA 25 years ago, has issued a statement, saying: We cannot look on idly as the British cynically draw out and fudge attempts at a negotiated settlement. The group went on to say they plan to operate from a position of defence and retaliation from midday today. Our Northern Ireland correspondent Tom Coulter told Graham Leach that the INLA had only ever suspended their attacks.
