Description
Simon Bowden reports on violent riots and demonstrations at council meetings across the country over the poll tax (community charge) with chanting and shouting heard. In Bristol, reporter Charlie Stayt describes the violence. In Birmingham the meeting is interrupted with speeches by Lord Mayor of Birmingham, Councillor Fred Chapman and Conservative group member Reg Hales.
