Peter Russell interviews Labour politician Peter Hain, who has identified twenty-four Conservative MPs as members of loss-making syndicates following the financial crisis at Lloyd’s of London insurance underwriters. Hain claims John Major’s Commons majority could be wiped out since under Parliamentary rules any MP who’s declared bankrupt would be unable to vote.
