- Report on the outbreak of a rare deadly disease, a Group A Streptococcal infection, in Gloucestershire which has affected seven victims, 3 have died. Dr Sally Pearson of the Gloucester Health Authority calls for calm. Dr Geoff Scott of University College, London describes how the virus may be caught and spread. Consultant microbiologist Dr Cleodni(?) Macnalty(?) describes the symptoms and treatment if caught early. Les Christie, the first victim, describes his feelings on managing to fight off the disease. Amy Bingham reports.
