- Interview with Sir Hugh Fraser, ex-managing director and chairman of the House of Fraser, who is welcoming a Stock Exchange inquiry into the sale of his shares. The story relates to the sale of shares in Scottish Universal Investments (SUITS) group to Roland (Tiny) Rowland, who then attempted to gain control of House of Fraser. Rowland’s shares were eventually sold to Mohamed Al-Fayed who eventually acquired Harrods. Reference is made to the Slater Walker investment company, which got into trouble the previous year.
