- Carolyn Oxton, a member of the All-Woman Swamp Expedition, tells how the group is about to journey through the Atrato Swamp of Columbia, South America, on Avon inflatable motor boats. They plan to document the wildlife, which could include monkeys, jaguars, anteaters, armadillos and ocelots, and to look for the lost canal of Raspadura, built by Spanish monks in 1788.
