Description
51 year-old Melvin Pearce from Bristol was serving in the Royal Engineers in 1957 when the army exploded an atom bomb just a few miles away from him, off Christmas Island. Pearce is now seriously ill and his case is being considered by the High Court. He describes his symptoms, and his feelings about his situation. Female interviewer not identified. For AM programme.
