- Unidentified male reports from the first peace rally to be held outside of Ireland - in Liverpool. The rally, attended by some 5,000 people, was organised by Muriel Young; her sister-in-law of Betty Williams, leads the crowd in reciting the Peace People’s declaration of peace. There is also an interview with Betty Williams, who talks about women’s solidarity, and the singing of a peace song.
