It has been confirmed that six major routes into the financial heart of London are going to have an anti-terrorist cordon thrown around them this weekend, as an experiment. All other roads into the city will be closed to traffic, with armed police checking vehicles. Driver Brian Gibbins(?) tells how he has just driven through a checkpoint.
