Report on the funeral of Strangeways Prison warder, Walter (Wally) Scott, who died of a heart attack after the prison riot began. More than 150 people attended the service at a church near Bury, including prison governor Brendan O’Friel and Bishop of Manchester, Stanley Booth-Clibborn. Senior Chaplain at Strangeways, the Reverend Noel Proctor speaks of the physical and emotional devastation caused by the riot. Andy Stenton reports. Clip includes singing of the congregation.
