- Mark Phillips reports from the headquarters of Bexley Health Authority where worried eye patients have called a special AIDS helpline after reports that a London surgeon has been diagnosed as HIV positive. Peter Curran who works at Queen Mary’s Hospital in Sidcup has operated on hundreds of patients but officials say there is little or no risk of any of them contracting the virus.
