- Description
- Interview with project director John Grice about the function of the Thames Barrier. Low pressures in the North Sea, melting polar ice caps and the settlement of London has increased flooding risks in the city. The Thames Barrier, as explained here, will be lifted when high tides occur, thus stopping the rising level of water from causing floods. Male interviewer not identified.
