Exctract from interview on US television with First Lady, Barbara Bush responding to allegations in a book entitled, The Power House, by Susan and Joe Trento, that her husband, President George H. W. Bush, had an extra-marital affair several years ago with a British-born divorcee, Jennifer Fitzgerald. Fitzgerald was Bush’s appointments secretary and is now deputy head of protocol at the US State Department. Interviewer not heard.
