- Description
- The Stevens Inquiry found that security forces leaked confidential information on IRA suspects to loyalist terrorists. Ken Livingstone has complained that the report was not published in full. Ian Gow, Chairman of the Conservative Committee on Northern Ireland, says that only a small part has not been published, on security grounds; he praises the Stevens Report. Seamus Mallon, SDLP security spokesman, says Stevens failed to get to the root of the problem. Reporter is Clayre Gribben.
