- Peter Plisner reports on the march yesterday to protest over the death of Jamaican woman Joy Gardner after a struggle with police as they tried to serve a deportation order at her Hornsey home. The march passed the police station where the officers involved are based. Includes Joy’s mother Myrna Simpson and Barbara Roche MP calling for an inquiry; and Chris Hannington, Chairman of Racial Equality Council and Bernie Grant local MP talking about racial equality.
