Description

Peter Deeley interviews Dr Duncan Empey, Medical Director of the Royal Hospitals Trust which runs both St Bartholomew’s Hospital (Bart’s) and the Royal London Hospital; and Labour health spokesman, Frank Dobson. Follows the announcement St Bartholomew’s Hospital (Bart’s) in the City of London is to shut within 6 years following failure to block the closure of the Accident and Emergency Department at the Court of Appeal. All services will be transferred to the Royal London in Whitechapel.
