Max Cotton reports on the Reverend Anthony Freeman’s final service at Stapleford in West Sussex following his dismissal from the Church of England over his refusal to accept traditional views of God after his views were published in a book last year. The Bishop of Chichester, the Rt Rev Eric Kemp, announced he would revoke his licence to practise because his views were incompatible with the job.
