Description

Violent crime is on the increase in London. The annual report from the Metropolitan Police reveals a sharp rise in the recorded number of sexual offences and violent assaults. Warnings were also given to Londoners to be on the alert for further possible terrorist attacks. Simon Bowden asked Police Commissioner Sir Peter Imbert if he regarded the recent detention of a terrorist suspect as a significant breakthrough.
