Description

Report following the death on 22 May 1990 of Major Pat Reid - author of The Colditz Story and one of the few prisoners to escape from the German high security POW camp. He became famous after publishing his story in 1952. Includes archive interview excerpts with Major Reid; the first man to escape from Colditz, Airey Neave, who later became a Conservative MP.
