- Havovi Todd reports on the ARVs, or Armed Response Vehicles, used by the Metropolitan Police. The units contain firearms, which are described here by firearms instructor John Benson. The National Council for Civil Liberties has concerns about the weapons, but police spokesman Pat Hodgson defends their use. Commander Tony Rowe, commander of a firearms response team, describes the training and the protocol of the firearms units. The report is followed by an interview with John Wadham of the NCCL.
