A British Airways jet has made an emergency landing at Southampton Airport after a window in the cockpit smashed and the pilot Captain Timothy Lancaster spent an agonising fifteen minutes with half his body hanging ouside the aircraft, held by the flight crew.This report from Mark Ovenden includes accounts from passengers Margaret Simmons, Stephanie Jenkins and eyewitness Phil Rosendale and interview with BA spokesman Anohny Cooklin(?).
