- Description
- Tim Crook reports on a decision by the Law Lords where Tiny Rowland’s Lonrho company lost its legal battle to persuade Trade Secretary Lord Young (David Young) to publish the confidential report on the takeover of Harrods by the House of Fraser. Now the Law Lords will have to decide if Lonrho was in contempt of court in relation to a special edition of the Observer newspaper which tried to publish large sections of the report. Includes reaction to the outcome from Michael Cole, spokesman for the House of Fraser; and precis of the comments of Law Lords include those of Lord Keith (Henry Keith).
