- Following the detonation in Bristol of a bomb beneath the car of a psychologist, the Research Defence Society has issued a warning to all involved in medical science to be vigilant. Director Mark Madfield claims that anyone involved in animal research is now a target. Steve McIver of the British Union for the Abolition of Vivisection says the people responsible for the attack are fanatics. Terrorism expert, David Capitanchik of the University of Aberdeen comments on the availability of explosives. Clayre Gribben reports.
