- Description
- The Chief Executive of British Airways has today been at the hospital bedside of a pilot who was almost sucked to his death when a cockpit window blew out on a holiday jet plane at the weekend. Sir Colin Marshall refused to comment on the incident, but confirmed that pilot Tim Lancaster was in good spirits. Captain Lancaster was saved by his colleagues, who pulled him back from the brink of death when the windscreen of the BA 1-11 suddenly disappeared at 25,000 feet.
