Legal affairs editor Tim Crook reports from the Old Bailey on the 25-year prison sentence after a 7 week trial for a twenty-six year old English-born construction worker who masterminded an IRA bomb plot in the north east of England. Sean McNulty from North Shields was linked forensically to 3 bomb blasts at gas and oil terminals. Mr Justice Mitchell said the fact there were no injuries or deaths made no difference to the seriousness of his crimes. Includes interview with Detective Chief Superintendent Barry Stewart, Northumbrian Police.
